We are proud to introduce our new addition "Philemon Profiler" - Lenny will make a welcome new addition here at Corimist and all being well will be joining us from Germany early in 2011.

We are looking forward to Lenny's arrival and are extremely grateful to Kirstin and Andreas for entrusting him to our care - we hope he will do you proud! Please see Lenny's page for more information.

Well it's the time of year when Beardie people start to think about adverts for the Yearbook - and we are no different! So making the most of the good weather, we decided it was time to try to get some up to date photos of Luke - who was the perfect model, taking it all in his stride, with only one raised eyebrow at the antics of the increasingly frustrated photographers! Here's a sample of the results.

We had a lovely day at the Bearded Collie Club of Scotland's Champ show. Nicola and Jacqui, along with Tilly, Miley and Luke, made the journey - enjoying the fabulous scenery along the way. Despite a little drama due to a road closure, we managed to arrive with time to spare. Luke thoroughly enjoyed his first outing to a dog show and made lots of new friends. Although not a successful day for us, Nicola handled Dolly, Merrythorpe Miss Daydream, who won her class and then the Reserve Bitch CC and Jacqui handled Ruby, Merrythorpe Miss Sunshine, picking up a first place card in the yearling class (Dolly and Ruby are owned by Marilyn Thorpe). Marilyn's boy, Sonny, (Claudalla Jacob Marley at Merrythorpe) won the Dog CC and BIS - many congratulations Marilyn!!

A very sad day for us all at Corimist as we had to say goodbye to Lewis, our sweet, gentle boy, who left this world peacefully, with dignity and the minimum of fuss; just as he lived his life! Jacqui and Lewis spent the past 16 years together and his loss is keenly felt; the world seems a sadder place without him. RIP Sweet Boy.

Luke had his final injection today - he took it all in his stride and didn't even flinch! What a brave boy! He stole the hearts of everyone in the surgery - especially two little girls in the waiting room who wanted to take him home! Not long now until Luke is out in the big world and joining Tilly & Miley on their walks - watch out girls our walks will never be the same again!

Tilly was placed 2nd in the Post Graduate Bitch Class at Leeds Champ Show - qualifying for Crufts 2011
(our Judge for the day was Mr Albert White)- way to go Tilly!

We received Miley's and Tilly's Hip Scores today and are delighted to report
Miley's Score is 4:5 and Tilly's is 3:4.

Travelled to Southampton to collect our new addition, Luke, Malandex Xquisitly for Corimist. We can't thank Marilyn Baker enough for entrusting this special boy into our care. Luke will shortly have his own page!

Nicola was very honoured to be asked to judge the puppy classes at the Bearded Collie Club of Sweden's Speciality Show in Hassleholm. Best Puppy was awarded to the winner of the 6mth-9mth bitch class, Farmarens Kerry Kilkenny. Reserve Best Puppy was awarded to the winner of the 4mth-6mth dog class, Shinuba's Ron Ton Ton. Both super puppies who have a bright future ahead of them. The Breeder's Group was awarded to Kennel Shinuba's.
